What Causes Morning Sickness or “NVP”?
Morning Sickness or “NVP” is something that is well documented – but not necessarily fully understood the world over. Exactly why it’s called “Morning Sickness” we can only suggest is because it predominantly occurs first thing in the morning – however the term “NVP” or “Nausea and Vomiting of pregnancy” might be more appropriate as the symptoms can and do occur at any time – anywhere.
There is a strong current that says it’s to do with hormones, and that its natural and should be left alone. Others say that while it’s natural – the severity of symptoms can bring danger to mother and baby alike.
You only have to search the net to find information in abundance about the issue of morning sickness and the array of things that people like to put forward as a good idea to deal with symptoms.
The number who suffer?
There is a lucky minority who don’t suffer at all, and there are those who suffer for the first few months. There are those with mild symptoms range through to those “Hyperemesis Gravidarum” – the most severe.
Then there are those who suffer the whole pregnancy term however – an accepted sufferance number for the pregnancy arena is an approximate 80%.
This is not a national statistic – this is a figure that affects every population the world over
There are those who think along the same lines..
